Trauma and PTSD

People can often become "stuck" after dealing with trauma. You might feel haunted by memories, on edge, and disconnected from yourself and others, even long after what happened is over. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a highly effective, research-backed therapy that focuses on how the trauma changed your thoughts and beliefs about yourself, others, and the world. Together, we will work to identify and challenge these "stuck points," helping you create a new, more empowered understanding of your experience and move forward.

Insomnia

Few things are more exhausting than the cycle of insomnia. Lying awake, worrying about being awake, and then feeling drained all the next day can impact every corner of your life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the gold-standard, non-medication treatment for chronic insomnia. It's a structured, skills-based program that helps you "retrain" your brain and body for sleep. We will address the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are interfering with your rest, helping you achieve consolidated, restorative sleep.

Chronic Pain & Headaches

When you live with chronic pain or frequent headaches, it can feel like your pain is controlling your life, leading to frustration, anxiety, and depression. My approach uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specialized protocols like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Headache (CBT-HA) to address the mind-body connection. You will learn practical skills to calm your nervous system, manage pain flare-ups, challenge the negative thought patterns that intensify pain, and gradually get back to the activities and people you love.
